ARC Review Plan – Powered by HOA180
Architectural Review Committees (ARCs) play a vital role in preserving community standards—but the process often leads to friction:
We get it. ARC members are volunteers—not inspectors or legal experts—just neighbors trying to do the right thing.
That’s why HOA180 steps in to streamline and professionalize the entire ARC process.
With our ARC HOA Plan, we take over the heavy lifting:
Let’s make architectural reviews smoother, faster and more consistent—so your community can move forward with confidence.
This first step involves a comprehensive review of your HOA's governing documents and CC&Rs to ensure all applications are evaluated consistently and in full compliance with the community's rules and regulations. This process, which is included in the monthly fee under the annual membership, is essential for creating tailored forms and guidelines specific to your community’s needs. *ARC Plan pricing based on communities with up to 350 condo units
Work with the board and management to create a comprehensive application form for your review. This form can be kept as the standard for those who prefer filling out applications by hand, offering a user-friendly option for residents who may not be comfortable with online processes. Alternatively, for those who prefer digital methods, you can utilize our streamlined online application system to simplify and expedite submissions.
Receive and manage owner applications for modifications like windows, garage doors, solar panels, EV chargers, hardscape, landscape, AC units, satellite dishes, cameras, etc. We’ll handle communication between owners, board members, and property managers, ensuring smooth coordination. Additionally, we could integrate our communication process into any platform your association uses, such as AppFolio, CINC, Frontsteps, or others, to keep everything streamlined and efficient.
Review owner applications, vendor proposals, and plans within 1 to 7 days, depending on the request type.
Submit requests for any missing items or necessary changes, or mark as ready for board approval.
Communicate with owners to confirm the objectives of their modifications.
Communicate with vendors to ensure application and proposal details match and meet HOA approval requirements.
Collaborate with HOA management for a final review and submit for board or committee approval.
Ensure all proposals are comprehensive to prevent legal issues and maintain consistent application approvals, avoiding any perception of special treatment for different owners.
